This Bundle includes a piece of Black Tourmaline (sizes will very), with a 4" White Sage bundle and a Palo Santo stick.
- Black Tourmaline works like a sponge, soaking up all the negative energy that surrounds it. It is known to be one of the most effective and powerful stones that can heal and protect you physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. It’s a stone that you should never be without because it can help protect you against misfortune and everything that brings negativity or unhappiness. It can also help ground you when the world becomes overwhelming. This stone will help you in many ways. The negative ions of Black Tourmaline will encourage clear thinking and lightheartedness.
- White Sage is considered one of the best herbs for protection and purification. It is known for its clearing of negative energies from spaces, people and/or objects.
- Palo Santo "Holy wood" stick has very good cleansing properties all on it's own and can be used by itself, but I like to burn it after burning sage, to bring in good energy once sage has cleared away the negative energy. Think about sage as moving energy out and palo santo moving energy in.
Black Tourmaline Smudge Bundle
When smudging, intention is key. Before you start, set an intention. You can even say your intention as you smudge, say a prayer, or whatever feels right to you. It's a personal choice.
Open a few windows and doors to help any smoke and negative energy leave easily.
Light your smudge bundle over a flameproof bowl until a small flame has caught (no need to create a thick cloud of smoke, blow on the flame until it goes out. The bundle will then smoke gently like incense. Remember that it’s the smoke that does the work, so the stick does not have to remain lit.
Walk around your home wafting the smoke into all areas of your space. Including small spaces like corners, windows and behind doors. It’s also good to open cabinets and etc.. as they can also hold stagnant energy.
You may need to relight the smudge bundle to make it around the whole house - simply relight it, as before and carry on where you left off.
Some let the bundle burn out, rather than extinguish it - this is solely up to you. You can extinguish it by lightly pressing the bundle into sand or into your fireproof dish. Never leave a lit smudge bundle unattended.DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE PREGNANT, SUFFER FROM ASTHMA OR HAVE RESPIRATORY ISSUES. Tip.. all though Black Tourmaline (or any crystal for that matter) can be used in MANY ways.. one of my favorite ways to use this stone is during meditation. I place the stone at the center of my heart chakra, with my hands over it, while I meditate.
